Albertsons Is The Community Food Bank Donation Location Today

Make time to drop off your non-perishable food or cash donation today at Albertson's, 2512 Broadway here in Grand Junction. The Carville’s Community Challenge continues until 3p.

The annual Carville’s Community Food Challenge is teaming up with other agencies to bring nutritious food to people and family in need of a meal. All food collected will be donated to the Community Food Bank. Now until Christmas, we're asking for you nonperishable food donations. "Donations are a big part of our organization, that's how we survive and are able to provide nutritious food for families here in the Grand Valley," said Abel Chavez with the Community Food Bank.

Everyone that makes a donation receives a free entree' from Costa Vida.  You can also sign up to win Country Jam tickets. Again, you can make cash donations and Carville’s plans to match them all.

You also sign up to win this giant teddy bear donated by Albertsons. That drawing will be held later today.

If you can't make it today, the final drop off event is Friday, Dec. 16. 8a.m.- 5p.m at Albertsons on 1830 N. 12th Street.
