7 Celebrities That Have Homes In Utah

Utah has everything from green mountains to red rock and vistas that look like other planets. Concerts and shopping malls in Salt Lake City, Sundance and outdoor experiences in Park City, Shakespeare in Cedar City, and several state and national parks.

These celebrities have decided to call Utah home:

Post Malone: the rapper, singer, songwriter, and producer released his first album Stoney in 2016. His latest album is Twelve Carat Toothache. He has a home in the Salt Lake area. 

Robert Redford: the actor and filmmaker established the Sundance Institute in the 1980s and has a home in northern Utah. 

Katherine Heigl: the actress and producer played Dr. Izzie Stevens on Grey’s Anatomy and has also had roles in The Ugly Truth with Gerard Butler and 27 Dresses. In 2007 she partnered with her mom and business partner Nancy Heigl to form their production company Abishag. She lives in rural Utah with her husband and three kids. 

Ty Burrell: the actor and comedian is best known for his role as Phil Dunphy on Modern Family. He’s also had roles in Black Hawk Down, The Incredible Hulk, and Finding Dory, among many other roles. He is the co-owner of “Bar-X” in Salt Lake City along with his brother Duncan. 

Michael Jordan: the businessman and former NBA player is considered the greatest basketball player of all time. He’s the majority owner of the Charlotte Hornets and in 2009 was immortalized in the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame alongside John Stockton and Jerry Sloan of the Utah Jazz. Michael Jordan has a home in the northern Utah area. 

Will Smith: the actor rapper is best known for his breakout role in the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. He’s also released several albums with DJ Jazzy Jeff as well as solo albums. He has a home in the northern Utah area.  

Tan France: born in England, the fashion designer sold his first fashion design company in his ’30s. He’s part of the 2018 Queer Eye reboot on Netflix as well as Next in Fashion also on Netflix and recently launched his Was/Him outerwear line. He and his husband Rob live in the northern Utah area with their son.
