‘3 Days to Kill’ Super Bowl Trailer: It’s Time for Some “Real” Football
Ahead of Sunday's big showdown between the Denver Broncos and the Seattle Seahawks, Relativity Media released the coming '3 Days to Kill' Super Bowl trailer online, which will air in its entirety during the game. And, of course, Kevin Costner has a thing or two to say about European football vs. "real football."
This is the second Super Bowl movie trailer featuring Costner we're getting this year. The first was for his sports movie 'Draft Day,' which goes behind the scenes of the athlete drafting process. But here, the classic actor goes for a more guns-blazing story by playing a secret agent trying to have a normal life with his family when he's called back into action one last time.
From the official plot description:
Kevin Costner is a dangerous international spy, who is determined to give up his high stakes life to finally build a closer relationship with his estranged wife and daughter, whom he's previously kept at arm's length to keep out of danger. But first, he must complete one last mission -- even if it means juggling the two toughest assignments yet: hunting down the world’s most ruthless terrorist and looking after his teenage daughter for the first time in ten years, while his wife is out of town.
The film is directed by McG ('Terminator Salvation') and also features the soon-to-be Mrs. Johnny Depp, Amber Heard, and up-and-coming teen starlet Hailee Steinfeld ('Ender's Game,' 'Barely Lethal'). Costner will have '3 Days to Kill' starting this February 21.
