The Wynkoop Brewing Company has Beer With Balls!

What began as an April Fool's joke, back on April 1, 2012 with a video that went viral, the Wynkoop Brewing Company now has by far the ballsiest beer on the planet. Wynkoop Brewing Company, Denver's first craft brewery has yet another first they are celebrating.

Today(October 8, 2012) Wynkoop Brewing Company founded in 1988 by, "A group of urban pioneers led by Governor John Hickenlooper" says their website will begin pouring their beer with balls.

Colorado's first brewpub posted a video on YouTube on April Fool's Day 2012 proclaiming to have released a beer made with bull testicles. Today, Monday October 08, 2012 at 5pm, the first of many of the kegs from a 'joke turned to reality' is being tapped. If you're headed to the Great American Beer Festival Thursday through Saturday (October 11, 12 & 13 in Denver, Colorado) they will also have some at their tent.

The beer is 7% alcohol by volume and additionally is made with Colorado-grown base malts, roasted barely, seven specialty malts (including special B and smoked malt) and Styrian Goldings hops" Marty Jones told The Huffington Post. Adding that there is a, "small dose of sea salt [which] gives the beer an extra layer of Rocky Mountain oyster flavor and additional texture.”
