Let’s Take Ride with the American Bobsled Team

The Olympics are under way so let’s take a ride with the American Bobsled team. The Bobsled competition will start on February 16th with the 2-man races. This year hopes are high with team USA as we have a new sled and a team that could win in Russia.

This time around BMW has designed team USA’s sled and by all accounts it is damn fast. The sled has hit a top speed of 75 mph and has pulled five G’s on the Sochi course. Over the years the European countries have always been the big dogs when it comes to bobsledding but over the past 10 years or so the Americans have become a good team.

At the 2014 Sochi games team USA will have a good showing and should win a medal in bobsledding. The 2-man races will start on Sunday February 16th in the afternoon.
