Moon Farm- Located at 1360 18 1/2 Road in Fruita is an autumn tradition that goes back to the 60's. Wallace and Ella Moon moved to the farm from Utah in 1954. They adopted 4 children and built a playhouse for their kids. In 1965, one of their sons invited his kindergarten class to the farm for a field trip. After that, more schools started coming out and as they say, the rest is history. The pumpkin patch is open daily from 10 AM to 7 PM, closed on Sundays. There are lots of things to do at Moon Farm including a haunted straw maze, corn maze, creepy clown house, and more.

Other places to grab your gourd include...Bookcliff Gardens, 755 26 Road in Grand Junction and Lower Valley Pumpkin Patch, 1901 O Road in Fruita. Happy National Pumpkin day everyone!
