Colorado Legislature to Further Review Background Checks on Gun Purchases
DENVER (AP) — Background checks for private gun purchases in Colorado are up for additional review in the state Legislature.
A group of House and Senate members today will be looking specifically at exemptions to allow people to give guns to relatives without doing a background check.
The bill is one of the biggest pieces of gun-control legislation still pending.
A limit on ammunition magazines has cleared the Legislature and awaits the governor's signature.
