Woman Found Dead At Emporium on North Avenue

A woman was found dead on Thursday at the Emporium store on North Avenue and Grand Junction Police are hoping someone can help solve this crime.

Thursday just after noon the Grand Junction Police Department was called to the store in the 2000 block of North Ave.due to a woman being unresponsive. Upon the arrival of the police, they determined the woman was deceased.

The death is being labeled as suspicious and Grand Junction police are hoping to talk to a person who was caught on camera near the store around the time this happened.

The Grand Junction Police Department is also asking for anyone who may have captured anything on home security or video doorbells to look at their footage and see if they may have captured anything at that location yesterday between 10 A.M. and Noon.
