Western Colorado Ski Resorts Honor Vets With Special Deals

Colorado ski resorts are offering deals for active military members and veterans.

This year, all across Colorado ski resorts will be offering free or discounted deals for veterans and their families. There are special appreciation days and events planned to honor vets as well. Here are ski resorts in western Colorado offering veteran's and their families special deals...

Powderhorn Resort- Always honors military members with a $10 discount on lift tickets.

Wolk Creek- Wolf Creek will honor active duty military and their dependents with a discounted $50 ticket for adults and $27 ticket for their children. They plan to kick off the promotion over the Veteran’s Day Weekend November 10th and 11th.

Purgatory Resort- Is honoring all active and retired military, including their families,  with a 15% discount on all lodging, lift tickets plus ski and snowboard rentals.

Aspen Snowmass- Snowmass offers several events to honor military members including a special Veteran’s Day deal. Aspen also offers discounts on season passes and daily lift tickets for all retired and active duty military personnel from all branches of the US Armed Forces.

Telluride Ski Resort- All military personnel and their families will receive a special Military Card which gets them a lift ticket plus 30% off additional tickets, for just $75. Telluride will be working again this year with the Adaptive Sports Program and Disabled Veterans Winter Adventure Week. This program offers free travel, lodging and program expenses to any US service member disabled because of an incident occurring while serving in the military.

Monarch Mountain- This year Monarch is offering a $199 season pass for all active duty, reserve, and retired military, including their families. The deal also includes discounts at another 36 resorts across the country. They also offer daily discounts on lift tickets for military members.

Sunlight Mountain Resort- Sunlight is offering active duty military season passes for just $319. Sunlight also offers discounted lift tickets to active duty, retired military, and their families.

Silverton Mountain- Silverton offers all military members 25% off all guided skiing.
