A ski resort in Colorado is adding something new this season, ice bumper cars. The ice bumper cars will be ready to slide in mid-December at Winter Park.

Winter Park Ski Resort is doing something different this year. The frozen pond at the resort is turning into a rink, for bumper cars. According to OutThereColorado, Winter Park will have 'one of the first outdoor ice bumper cars in Colorado' in December.

The Colorado ski resort will debut their new addition in mid-December, according to Winter Park Resort's website. The ice bumper cars will start sliding daily in mid-December from 12-5 and sounds like a fun winter activity for family and friends.

The ice bumper cars at Winter Park Resort will be available for 15-minute intervals and will cost $12 per ride. Winter Park Resort's website states that rider must be 48" or taller to ride.

Ski resorts all across Colorado have been forced to get innovative. The Town of Mountain Village of Telluride is converting gondola cars into dining cabins. There will be 20 refurbished gondolas in the base plaza, thanks to The Gondola Shop in Fruita.

COVID-19 has forced everyone to become innovative. We're interested to see what other innovations we'll see from ski resorts this winter in Colorado.
