This precise scenario could have easily happened last night as the newest episode of a TV show called Booked: First Day In featured footage from all over Mesa County.
Western Colorado Law Enforcement Featured on TV Show
The show aired its first episode of season three last night on A&E and much of the footage was taken in Mesa County. The episode featured bodycam footage from the Grand Junction Police Department, Mesa County Sheriff's Office, the Fruita Police Department, and even interior shots from the Mesa County Detention Facility.

According to a Facebook post published by the Mesa County Sheriff's Office's official page, "The Mesa County Detention Facility was the first facility in Colorado to participate in the docuseries and provided an opportunity to highlight the exceptional individuals who work in our Agency."
In addition to the footage that was taken in Mesa County, the episode also featured bodycam footage from the Clay County Sheriff's Office in northern Mississippi.
It's unclear as to whether or not this episode will be the only one this season to feature law enforcement operations in Western Colorado but either way, it's pretty interesting to see real, raw footage from bodycams worn by police officers based in Grand Junction, Fruita, and other parts of Mesa County.
