Let's say you're walking down the street, maybe with a laundry basket in your hands. You've just completed a load of laundry and a strange man hands you a crisp, new, hundred-dollar bill out of nowhere and keeps on his way.

We've all dreamed of discovering a large amount of money and keeping it with no consequences, and this scenario also begs the question of what you would buy with your newfound cash.

Let's face it, some of the biggest headaches with the current cost of living in Colorado, and most of the country as well, are gas prices and grocery prices. Because of this, it should come as no surprise that responses citing these examples as immediate purchases were aplenty.

However, there were also some very unselfish responses that were nice to see. For example, one person said that they'd spend it on their dog, another on cat food, and another said that they'd help with a friend's surgery.
