Here's your guide to regional 4th of July fireworks displays.

Now that the Colorado drought is officially over, 4th of July fireworks displays are back! Some cities replaced their traditional fireworks with laser light shows and other forms of entertainment or simply canceled their displays entirely. The wildfire threat and fire restrictions deemed intentionally setting off sparks not the best idea. Here is a list of some of the best regional fireworks and 4th of July celebrations on the western slope.

Tuesday, July 2ed & 4th-Telluride- Tuesday the 2ed catch the Air Force Academy Band concert at 7 PM in Town Park. Be sure and come back on the 4th for the parade at 11:00 AM and then as the sun sets over the San Juan Mountains, take in the unbelievable fireworks display! The firefighters shoot off the fireworks just above Town Park.

Wednesday, July 3rd-Avon-  The 33rd annual "Salute to the USA" celebration takes place in Harry A. Nottingham Park Wednesday evening at 5:00 PM. Catch live music from the Hazel Miller Band at 5:45 and eight-time Grammy-winning reggae star Ziggy Marley takes the stage at 7:15 PM.

Wednesday, July 3rd-Fruita- Catch the 3rd annual City of Fruita's fireworks display!  The display site is at Snooks Bottom Open. The fireworks show starts at 9:30 PM.

Thursday, July 4th-Crested Butte- The 4th of July in Crested Butte is a day-long patriotic celebration of music, food, and fun! Celebrate America’s birthday at the country’s "biggest small town" festival. Fireworks start at 9:30 PM!

Thursday, July 4th-Delta- The Delta Volunteer Fire Department fires off the annual July 4th fireworks at Delta's Confluence Park just after dusk.

Thursday, July 4th-Glenwood Springs- They're one of the communities that go with a laser light show instead of traditional fireworks. This free family-friendly event starts at 5:00 PM in Two Rivers Park with kids activities, games, crafts, fire trucks, food and beverage vendors, and more! Headlining the evenings live music is Colorado favorite, Hazel Miller. The evening ends with a unique, one-of-a-kind laser light show above the softball field starting around 9:45 PM.

Thursday, July 4th-Grand Junction- It's a Grand Junction tradition, the annual fireworks show immediately following the GJ Rockies baseball game.

Thursday, July 4th-Montrose- Don't miss the annual 4th of July parade at 4:00 PM on Main Street. After the parade head over to Cerise for the first annual 4th of July Picnic in the Park and the main event, the fireworks!

Thursday, July 4th-Ouray- Head over for an old fashioned Fourth of July in Ouray. There's the parade at 10:00 AM and at dusk don't miss the Jeep "Glow" Parade! Decorated Jeeps twinkle with lights and glow sticks and roll down the hill and through Ouray at dusk. The fireworks display caps off the day!
