High wind warnings on Friday and Saturday throughout Colorado had highways shut down, as gusts reached dangerous speeds.

On Saturday, I-25 was closed in Northern Colorado from Wellington to the Wyoming border, and it was so something like this wouldn't happen.

The night before, a semi truck on the interstate near Colorado Springs was pulled to the side of the road when the wind picked up. Not only did the truck tip over, but the front portion of the cab is seen getting torn off as well. There was no report on the driver's condition, but fortunately, the truck didn't hit any other vehicles.

According to the National Weather Service, wind speeds reached up to 94 mph in Colorado near Floyd Hill; Loveland reaching 84 mph.
