Cold Front With Snow in Parts of Colorado Expected on Sunday
On Tuesday, a record-high temperature of 87 degrees was recorded at DIA, but the end of this weekend will be a different story.
Remember when it snowed right after Labor Day? We haven't seen a flake since. But, according to 9NEWS, a cold front is on the way for Colorado, and is expected to drop some snow in the higher elevations before noon on Sunday, and possibly lower elevations on Monday. Hopefully that includes the Cameron Peak area.
While snow accumulation isn't likely in the Denver Metro area, it will be chilly, possibly with freezing rain early next week, 9NEWS reported. The cold front and snow forecast will be updated daily here.
The National Weather Service says that Fort Collins will have a high of 72 on Sunday, with a chance of showers, and Monday will also have a chance of showers with a high of 60.
