Uber Driver Shoots/Kills Passenger In Denver (UPDATE)

***UPDATE***

Police have arrested Michael Hancock, 29, on suspicion of First Degree Murder in this case. He has not been formally charged at this time.

An Uber driver shot and killed a passenger on I-25 this morning just before 3 a.m.

According to police, the driver shot the male passenger multiple times after an altercation in the vehicle, then called the police to report the shooting.

Police are unsure if the driver was working or not, and would like to hear from anyone who was traveling down I-25 near University Blvd.

The southbound lanes of I-25 around University were closed this morning while police investigate the shooting.
