Last night the shootout hero from the Sochi Olympics was at it again. T.J. Oshie of the St. Louis Blues scored a short-handed goal to tie the game with the Tampa Bay Lightning in the second period. It was a really sweet goal and helped the Blues to a 4-2win.

The win gave the Blues 88 points on the season and first place in the central division. While that was going down in old St. Lou the Colorado Avalanche were exploding for three goals in the third period to beat the Chicago Blackhawks 4-2. That made the division a three-dog race with just about 20 games to go.
St. Louis has 88 points
Chicago has 86 points
Colorado has 85 points
All three teams will make the playoffs, which will start around April 15th where, and when they start the quest for the cup will be determined over the next 20 games.
