The Powderhorn Racing Club Wants Your Colors To Run

It's Color Sunday at Powderhorn Mountain Resort on September 27. There will be a 3K team adventure or if you're really enthusiastic, you can go large in the 10K Thigunawat trail run race. All of the race proceeds will benefit the Powderhorn Racing Club, a non-profit group that offers a great learn-to-ski program for kids 5 and up of all ability levels.

By the way, the individual 10K trail run race will be the same one you may have experienced from 2009 to 2013. The 2014 race was rain-shortened. This is the really spectacular route that many enjoyed.

The race starts on 9:30 a.m. on September 27 and there's a $35 adult entry fee or $25 for youth 17 and under. Check Powderhorn's event page for more info.
