The British are Coming Saturday Night with GJ Rockestra

The Grand Junction Rockestra will hold their fall concert this Saturday night on the campus of CMU. The fall show is called “The British Are Coming” and is sure to be a great time for all ages.

The show will be at the Robinson Theater and will get under way at 7:30pm. Tickets can be purchased at gjsymphony.org or call 243-6787.

GJ Rockestra will feature hits from The Rolling Stones, Beatles, Judas Priest, Led Zeppelin, the Kinks and yes Motorhead just to name a few. These are always great shows and a killer date night. I would say get there a little early to enjoy a cold beer or glass of wine and to get a good seat.

In the summer GJ Rockestra added a couple of new singers and it shows with their set list for the fall performance. Founder and director, Calvin Hofer told me this week that the new voices has opened up the type of songs they play and with Def Leppard, Deep Purple and Queen on the set list this is set to be a great show with GJ Rockestra Saturday night at Robinson Theater.
