Next Friday isn't just the unofficial start of the holiday shopping season, it's National Record Store Black Friday.

  Colorado's own Big Head & The Monsters are kicking off their "New World Arisin'" Tour in Grand Junction Wednesday, November 29th. Tickets went on sale earlier today and as of mid-morning over 200 were already sold. There was a pre-sale earlier in the week so all the damage wasn't done today but if you're thinking about going to the show, you may want to hop online sooner than later

This weekend there is a benefit for the family of Shane Hill, who recently passed away. If you want to help out it is very simple just stop by Triple Play Records downtown and buy a raffle ticket.
