Good news, folks. Father's Day isn't until June, but we've already found the perfect gift for Dad!

Technology is advancing at an alarming rate. It's only a matter of time until, according to Hot Wings, robots will be our evil overlords. While most don't agree with that stance, this video lends some credence to the argument.

No word yet as to when they'll get laser beams attached to their heads.

It looks like Hot Wings' prediction of robots being too advanced for our well-being might actually start to hold some water! California's Silicon Valley now has some crime-fighting robots.

For many years, Hot Wings has had a theory that robots will one day take over the world. Well now, this computer scientist at Harvard University is making Hot Wings' dream a reality.

It's not quite Rosie from 'The Jetsons,' but we're inching closer to domestic robots in the home.

If you ever doubt that this world might be worth saving, consider the following: There is, right now, at this very moment, an engineer and roboticist in Japan named Kenji Ishida who is working on building a full-sized, drivable car that transforms into a humanoid robot that can shoot missiles out of its hand. If that news doesn't cheer you up (and make you at least slightly terrified) then really, I don't know what will.

Last fall a few commercial companies went to Fort Benning Georgia to show the military what their robots could do. I have just one question didn’t anyone tell them this is how terminator got started? If you remember this is what the military did in those movies. They put weapons on robots and when they gained consciousness they realized they didn’t need us and it was open season on the human race.
