Primus and Puscifer drummer Tim Alexander underwent successful open heart surgery Monday and is said to be recovering.

Tool / A Perfect Circle / Puscifer frontman Maynard James Keenan's birthday was back in April, but the prolific musician celebrated his 50th in grand fashion on May 10 and May 11. Maynard's 'Cinquanta' event was held at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles and the guest of honor performed with both A Perfect Circle and Puscifer during the occasion.

Maynard James Keenan once said, "F--- your tattoos," in a little song called 'Ænima,' but the vocalist hasn't let that statement stop him from getting some ink of his own. Maynard has sported a few tats for a while now, but the musician / cult leader has just gotten himself an entire half-sleeve on his right arm.
