Last year, President Trump created a sixth branch of the U.S. Military, Space Force (USSF), and construction on a new 60,000 square-foot Space Force building is underway near Denver, CBS4 reports.

While the headquarters is the Pentagon, the Air Force bases in Colorado will be used for USSF.

'The USSF Headquarters and Office of the CSO are located in the Pentagon, just like the Army, Navy, Marine Corps, and Air Force,' the Space Force website says. 'This staff will focus on establishing a fully-functioning headquarters; preparing to execute the full scope of its organize, train, and equip responsibilities; and, in conjunction with the U.S. Air Force, developing a detailed plan to transfer forces into the U.S. Space Force.'

In addition to Peterson Air Force Base in Colorado Springs, the new facility for 'training and administration' will be on Buckley Air Force Base, which is in Aurora.

In a year and a half, USSF will have a the new facility, but for now, it at least has a logo, which the internet is totally into, by the way.
