That's one way to ditch interstate traffic: just fly over it. According to The Points Guy, Southwest Airlines is now adding flights from Denver International Airport to Montrose, for skiers and riders.

The travel site says that between December 19 and April 5, Southwest will have up to three flights per day between DIA and Montrose, about a half-hour flight.

Montrose is home to the 'Circle of Bliss,' which includes Telluride Ski Resort, Powderhorn Mountain Resort, Silverton Mountain, Crested Butte, Monarch Mountain and Purgatory.
