Slayer has been confirmed as a marquee act for the 2015 Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival. They’ll join the likes of Led Zeppelin legend Robert PlantBetween the Buried and Me, Against Me!, Royal Blood, Unlocking the Truth, My Morning Jacket, Florence and the Machine and many more along with this year's headliner, Billy Joel.

This year, the lineup was announced by fans. Anyone with an Instagram, Twitter or Vine account could call a designated number, get the name of a band in the lineup and release that name on their own social media accounts. Check out the fan post which announced Slayer as a confirmed act.

The four-day camping and music festival takes place in Manchester, Tenn. from June 11-14. Tickets for Bonnaroo go on sale Jan. 17 at 11AM. Grab tickets of your own at Bonnaroo.com.

2015 is shaping up to be big for Slayer, as Nuclear Blast confirmed that a new full-length release from the thrash titans will arrive sometime this year. And you know what would make this year even crazier for the band? If Dave Lombardo started drumming with the group again. We’re not saying that will happen, but recently Lombardo commented that, for the fans, he would be open to returning to the group.
