All lanes of I-70 are re-opened in DeBeque Canyon after yesterdays rock-slide.

I-70 has reopened following a rock slide that closed both directions east of Palisade for about six hours Wednesday the 29th.

The Colorado Department of Transportation says a boulder up to 10 feet across tumbled onto eastbound lanes & smaller rocks fell on westbound lanes.

According to Colorado State Patrol I-70 East Bound & Westbound experienced delays due to an early morning rock-slide on Wednesday the 29th.

Thanks to Aaron one of our listeners we had updated reports about it all morning!

EB & EB were closed in the Debeque Canyon around MM46 for Rock Mitigation that included blasting and a minimum of a 4 hour delay.
