Rifle To Vote On Adding Fluoride To Their Drinking Water

The community of Rifle will the people decide if fluoride should be added to their drinking water. Rifle is still a couple of years away from the completion of their new water treatment plant but the fluoride issue is already a hot topic.

Rifle stopped adding fluoride to their water back in 2005 and a local doctor has noticed a jump in tooth problems.

On one side of the issue are the people who think it is a good idea. There is proof that adding fluoride helps cut down on tooth decay especially in children.

On the other side some people say that fluoride is poison and we shouldn't be adding it to our drinking water. There are even some that think it's a government conspiracy to bring down America.

I don't know about all that but the if you live in Rifle expect to see the fluoride issue on the ballot in 2016.
