On Rifle Gap State Park's Facebook page, they posted a few pictures of the trail and ask for some suggestions when it comes to naming. Here's what you should know about the newest trail at Rifle Gap:

The new hiking trail takes 30-40 minutes to complete it and includes lake views of the Rifle Gap Reservoir. The trail goes through a forest of juniper and pinyon trees looks like a great place to practice social distancing.

According to their Facebook post, the new hiking trail still has some blue flags to guide hikers in the middle section of it. They are working hard to get the trail completely finished and in the meantime, they're looking for a name for it.
