Controversial rapper XXXTentacion made multitudes of unreleased music before his death earlier this year. He first posthumous release, titled SKINS, was released today (Dec. 7) and features a song with Kanye West.

Titled "One Minute," the track is a surprising nod to nu-metal's glory days, while maintaining a modern aesthetic. It begins with a digitized Rage Against the Machine-esque riff and West spitting bars with apparent pace, but it's not until X comes in screaming during the second half that the song hits peak aggression.

Tentacion (born Jahseh Onfroy) was a known metal fan. He not only named a song "Slipknot," but sampled "Spit It Out" on his track "Off The Wall!" as well, which featured Ski Mask the Slump God. You can listen to both of those, along with "One Minute," below.

Onfroy was murdered on June 18, 2018. He was gunned down while leaving a motorcycle dealership in Deerfield Beach, Florida. He was 20 years old.

Before his death, Onfroy was facing charges of false imprisonment, witness tampering, and aggravated battery of a pregnant woman. The abuse charges were dropped following his passing.
