Rancho del Rio is located high in the Colorado mountains and carries the tagline, "Not Your Usual Resort," and for good reason.

You can find Rancho del Rio at 4199 Trough Road in Bond, Colorado, just off Colorado Highway 131 between Wolcott and Steamboat Springs.

If you're familiar with Spanish, you probably know that the name roughly translates to "the river ranch," which makes sense as it is located right along the river. However, river activities are just some of the fun things you can enjoy at Rancho.

Colorado's Rancho del Rio Has a Lot to Offer

Rancho del Rio, (or simply "Rancho" as it's known by the locals,) offers shuttles to take rafters, kayakers, and tubers up the river, but there is so much more that goes on at Rancho.

For example, Rancho offers rental cabins, 20 acres of camping, and RV rentals. In addition, you'll find the ideal conditions for fishing, hiking, mountain biking, cross-country skiing, and snowshoeing.

There are also stores nearby including a convenience store/gas station, a liquor store, and in case something gets into your food while you're asleep in your tent, a restaurant.
