A popular television game show is bringing its stage show to Colorado and it's time to "come on down."

People don't know this about me, but I have won thousands of dollars in prizes on The Price Is Right - brand new cars, fabulous furniture, and exotic vacations. Never mind the fact I was sitting in my living room watching the show on TV. I may not have actually taken ownership of any of the prizes, but based on my astute price-guessing skills I'm positive I would have made it into The Price Is Right Hall of Fame had I ever been on the show.

Now let's shift from fantasy to reality - and the reality is The Price Is Right is coming to Colorado and you actually do have a chance to win some marvelous prizes. The on-stage traveling version of the TV game show is coming to the Loveland Budweiser Events Center on October 5.

Eligible contestants, selected from the audience, will have a chance to bid on merchandise, play classic games like Plinko and Cliffhangers, and, of course, spin the Big Wheel.

How To Get Tickets

You've got to believe tickets for this event are going to be highly sought after and tough to get, and the event most likely will be a sellout. Tickets go on sale Friday, April 30 online at treventscomplex.com.

How Much Do Tickets Cost?

Ticket prices for the Loveland Price is Right event are $39, $49, and $75. A "Spin the Big Wheel VIP Package" sells for $150 and includes an official photograph with the big wheel. The Super Fan VIP Package goes for $100 and includes the "exclusive" The Price is Right tote bag and a merchandise item.

How Do You Get On the Show?

Registration takes place the day of the show, about 3 hours before showtime near the box office. People who want to be on the show provide their name and date of birth - and it doesn't cost anything to register. In fact, they are very clear that "no purchase is necessary" and buying a ticket "will not increase your chances of being selected to play."

What About Drew Carey?

Nowhere in the promotional material is The Price is Right host Drew Carey mentioned. That leads me to believe he's not going to be there, unfortunately. But, hey, it's still The Price is Right.

If you have always dreamed of being on the Price is Right, here's your chance. How cool would it be to hear your name called and that iconic phrase "Come on down! You're the next contestant on The Price is Right!"
