Polis Issues Executive Order Regarding Mask Use

At a press conference on Friday afternoon (April 17, 2020,) Governor Polis announced that he's using his executive order privileges during this COVID-19 pandemic.

Effective immediately, everyone working in critical businesses, including grocery workers, those working in senior care facilities and those who work in close proximity to others, will have to wear a mask.

The masks can be medical masks, like N95 masks, or simple homemade cloth masks.

The Governor stated that though many grocery workers are already wearing masks, it is now a requirement, and one that's needed to reduce the spread of COVID-19 and prevent hospitalizations and deaths in Colorado.
