Grand Junction Dog: Our Pet of the Week Really Needs a Foster
The Pet of the Week is Neo the 2 1/2-year-old husky/shepherd mix. Neo really needs a foster who will help her build confidence and come out of her shell.
Every Tuesday we feature a pet from Roice-Hurst Humane Society in hopes of finding them their perfect forever home. This week, it's all about Neo the 2 1/2-year-old dog, who needs a forever home but needs a foster home first.
The Pet of the Week is a spayed female, who's possibly a husky/shepherd mix, according to Roice-Hurst. Neo really needs someone to help her out before she's ready for adoption. She's slow to trust people and needs someone who has time and patience to work with her.
Neo the dog could use a foster who can help her build her confidence. The Pet of the Week would do best in a home without children or cats. Neo needs a foster who will give her a little extra TLC.
According to the Roice-Hurst Humane Society, Neo does really well once she gets to know people. The Pet of the Week becomes very happy and playful once she's comfortable.
Neo has the best, biggest smile and would love to share it with you. She just needs someone to take the time to show her that it's okay to trust people and it's okay to come out of her shell. You can find out more about fostering the Pet of the Week, Neo, here.
