Adopt Me: Colorado Dog Thrown Out of Car, Still Loves Humans
The week's Pet of the Week is Stormy, who is up for adoption now in Grand Junction. This Colorado dog was thrown out of a car and still loves people somehow.
We always like to know how our Pets of the Week ended up at Roice-Hurst Humane Society and unfortunately, this dog has a very sad story. Stormy was found after she was thrown out of a car and then was transferred from Steamboat Springs to Grand Junction.
We can't fathom how someone could do this to a sweet, defenseless animal, which is why we want to find Stormy the perfect home. Here's what you should know about the Pet of the Week:
- Stormy is about 6 years old
- She's spayed
- Stormy is an Akita mix
- She loves other dogs and especially loves people
Roice-Hurst Humane Society told us Stormy is one of the sweetest dogs they've ever met and that she lights up every time she sees people. The whole time we were interviewing her she kept leaning on us and giving us her paw. We were even lucky enough to get a kiss from the super sweet Mix 104.3 Pet of the Week, who we wanted to take to the radio station with us.
It's amazing that people are still Stormy's favorite thing in the entire world, even after she was thrown out of a car by someone. We hope that we can help Stormy find her forever home by making her our Mix 104.3 Pet of Week.
