Over 320 Pounds Of Hard Drugs Seized In Colorado

A joint task force of state and federal authorities have seized over 320 pounds of hard drugs in Colorado. The two year investigation known as 'Operation Chump Change' also netted some 57 indictments.

While it is no secret that I support full legalization of Marijuana the hard drugs like heroin, methamphetamine and cocaine have no place on our streets. Growing up in a large city I saw first hand how these drugs destroy lives.

These types of drugs will make the most honest person do some very bad things.

Along with the 273 pounds of brown heroin, 31 pounds of methamphetamine, 25 pounds of cocaine prosecutors arrested 34 people and seized some 25 vehicles in the operation.

Wow that is a lot of dope and the 34 people will get a lot of time to think about that.
