Denver-based singer Nathaniel Rateliff made an appearance in this afternoon's press conference with Governor Jared Polis as he asked every Coloradan to wear a face mask when leaving the house for essential activities

It's one thing to have your Governor ask you to do something... but it's another to have one of your favorite musicians ask you. Now we're listening. (Kidding, of course. We were always #DoingOurPartCO; we want to flatten this curve, after all!)

This time, he's not asking for another drink — he's asking for you to cover up. Rateliff's PSA aired during Polis' Friday afternoon press conference.

'Let's make wearing a mask an everyday thing,' he said.

FOX 21 News Colorado Springs shared the video below.

If you are walking around the block or heading to the store, that is OK under Colorado's Stay-at-Home order, but from now on, the governor is asking you to have your face covered with any non-medical cloth mask. Anything medical-grade, like surgical or N95 masks, should be reserved for healthcare providers. Read more here

Colorado is under statewide Stay-at-Home orders until April 11; Larimer County's order is in effect until April 17.
