My First Country Jam

Country Jam starts tomorrow. The biggest party of the year is about to get underway. I was out on the grounds today helping get set up. I'm ready for my first Jam!

As many of you know I've been to hundreds of concerts. I love music. It's the main reason I do what I do. I'm a fan of the blues and rock but appreciate live music of any kind. It matters little to me what the band's playing if it's quality, I'm for it. The lineups for Country Jam are always quality. No festival is around for 26 years if it doesn't deliver.

As I walked the grounds this afternoon, the place was buzzing with activity. Sound guys putting the system through the paces, vendors loading up their temporary shops, and water trucks trying to keep the dust under control. The last time I was on the grounds was shortly after my arrival. It's crazy to see this field with nothing but a concert slab transformed into one of the largest country music festivals in the country.

I'm excited to take it all in. As I was leaving this afternoon a seemingly endless caravan of trucks and campers was rolling into the campgrounds. It's almost here! The biggest party in the west!
