Music Students Give Iron Maiden a Try

A group of music students at a band camp got together to give Iron Maiden a try. This is pretty cool and I would say adventurous for these kids. Iron Maiden is really not an easy band to copy and they take on a great track in ‘The Number of the Beast’.

They only have one guitarist, which is a bit of a bummer as Maiden has always had at least two men on the axe. That is one of the things that set maiden apart in my book. Adrian Smith and Dave Murray both play lead guitar. In some bands with multi guitarist one is the lead and one plays more of a rhythm role, not Iron Maiden. They have always been on the cutting edge of duel lead guitar playing.

I think these kids do a great job so enjoy this ride through ‘The Number of the Beast’.
