The Montrose County Sheriff's Office is attempting to find the person responsible for starting a brush fire and then leaving the area.

The fire was left to burn out of control threatening structures in the area. The fire was started on April 12 in the 14000 block of Mustang Lane. What made this fire particularly dangerous is it was started on a day with high fire danger warnings and high winds.

The suspect, in this case, is described as a tall slender older white male with long brown hair. He is believed to be driving a white 1990's model Chevrolet Blazer.
