Mindy Kaling Explains Why Her ‘Mindy Project’ Always Comes With a Warning Label
If you’re a fan of Mindy Kaling’s ‘The Mindy Project,’ you’re probably pretty well-acquainted with the show’s warnings, which often clue viewers into some particularly raunchy and/or ribald material waiting for them ahead. Kaling, of course, doesn’t always intend for her program to basically involve a skull and crossbones warning, it’s just something that happens. Still, that doesn’t means that she doesn’t sort of relish it.
Kaling took to ‘Conan’ last night to share some of her (extremely mild) worries about her warning system, and to basically upend host Conan O’Brien’s show into her own you-can’t-say-that-on-television guinea pig. Hey, it’s a good thing TBS is a little more lax than FOX, at least in this situation.
