Frisco's Mike Minor won a bronze medal in the adaptive skateboard park event during the X Games. Mike was born missing an arm and shreds hard regardless.

29-year-old Mike Minor always wanted an X Games medal. Now, as of this past weekend, he has one. It was only his second skateboarding competition ever and he scored a bronze medal during the X Games, which is incredible.

Mike has been skateboarding since he was five and also snowboards. He won gold in banked slalom and silver in snowboard cross in last years Pyeongchang Winter Paralympics.

He says he scored that bronze medal at the X Game because of how much he's been practicing lately. Mike has been skating at skateparks in Frisco, Leadville, and Breckenridge to prepare for the big moment this past weekend and it paid off.

Mike plans to be a part of the X Games next summer and hopes that adaptive skateboarding will be a part of it too. You can watch Mike Minor's, and the other competitor's, replay in the X Games this past weekend here.
