14-Year-Old Amara Herrera Was Found Safe
[UPDATE 5/4/2020 @ 4:45 p.m.] We got word from Mesa County Sheriff's Office that Amara Herrera has been found safe! Thank you to everyone who shared the story.
Having a missing family member is something that would keep anyone up with lots of sleepless nights, now think about if that person was a 14-year-old female. It's frightening to think that Amara Herrera has now been missing since November, which is now six months that her mom has been wondering where she is. It's time to get her home.
Amara Herrera is 14-years-old she stands around 4'8 and weighs approximately 100 lbs. She has brown hair and eyes and is missing out of Farmington, New Mexico.
The reason this case is getting new attention is that our very own Mesa County Sheriff's Office posted on Facebook today about Amara possibly being in our area. The Farmington, New Mexico Police Department has reason to believe Amara may be in the Grand Junction area.
If you have any information regarding this case or Amara's whereabouts please reach out to law enforcement immediately at 505-334-6622 in reference to case #19-76910.
If nothing else please share this information so we can get this young girl back home with her family where she belongs. If this was your family member you would appreciate anyone you know spreading the word.
We will try to keep up on this story as much as possible until Amara is brought home. Fingers crossed she is found safe and will be home soon.
