California Man Arrested for Poisoning Girlfriend with Visine

Like a the scene right out of "Wedding Crashers," a California woman is recovering from being poisoned after her boyfriend put Visine in her drink.

Nevada County Sheriff's office states that 27-year-old Shayne Carpenter was arrested and charged with domestic violence and poisoning charges, and was released on a $25,000 bail.

Carpenter's girlfriend became suspicious when she saw some texts on her boyfriends phone that read:

"He was making texts to his buddies that if 'She's going to be talking crap then she's going to be crapping.'"

Carpenter admitted to the police that he did in fact add the Visine to his girlfriends drink.
