It may a bit of a drive from Junction, but the Deltondo Corn Maze is worth the effort. You folks in Delta and Montrose, there's no excuse not to dedicate an evening this fall to explore this awesome corn maze and pumpkin patch on the Deltondo family farm.
It's easy to find. Just east of Montrose on highway 50 past the trade center. Just look for the sign on the giant hay bails (courtesy of Black Out Graphics).

It's open weekends through the month of October. The maze becomes extra challening the last weekend of October as spooks, goblins, and other scary creatures haunt the maze.

I had the pleasure to meet the family on my stop by Saturday eveing. Marty and Janelle's' labor of love came about after conceding to the persistence off their children, Janell says "the kids kept begging us says we have this huge corn field, let's make a maze." She goes on to say the work was done themselves with a weed wacker and an GPS.

There's also a huge pumpkin patch next to the maze.  All the gourds and squash are grown on the farm. It makes the drive out to Montrose fun for the whole family as you can challenge the maze and grab that jack-o-lantern to be all in one stop.
