Last night the Hockey Hall of Fame welcomed four new members; Mats Sundin, Pavel Bure , Adam Oates and Colorado Avalanches's Joe Sakic. While all four disserve the honor the class of the 2012 Hall of fame class is Joe Sakic. Joe is the only one to play his entire career with one franchise and was a class act on and off the ice.

Joe Sakic was drafted by the Quebec Nordiques back in 1987, eight years before they moved to Colorado and became the Avalanche. Joe was a 13-time All-Star and after 20 seasons, Sakic retired as the franchise's all-time leader with 625 goals and 1,016 assists and also won the Hart Trophy in 2001. The 625 goals places him 15th on the all-time list, Joe is also 18th with 86 game winning goals and third all-time with 19 playoff game winning goals. Joe also has 8 playoff overtime goals that is the most all-time in the NHL. Joe also won the Stanley Cup twice 1996, 2001 and in 2002 he  earned tournament MVP honors as Canada skated off with the gold medal at the Salt Lake Olympics.

So congratulations to one the NHL greats, Super Joe sakic.
