The Ranch Events Complex in Loveland, Colorado, is getting set to bring in a couple of major additions that will not only bring more fun to The Ranch but also help to make it self-sustaining.

Hockey Arena and Outdoor Amphitheater Slated for The Ranch in Loveland, Colorado

The Ranch has been around since 2003, not only entertaining the Northern Colorado area, but also providing ample space for 4-H and other community activities with 375,000 square feet of indoor event space.

In the coming years, the people of Northern Colorado will see additions to the complex that will not only bring more entertainment to the area, but also more money to the complex, which it will very much need in 2039 when the voter-approved sales and use tax will "sunset."

New Outdoor Amphitheater Coming to The Ranch

In May of 2025, The Ranch announced that Larimer County had officially approved Phase II-a of The Ranch's Master Plan for expansion. One of items included in the phase is an outdoor Great Lawn and amphitheater.

  • 6,000 seats - 2,000 fixed seating, 4,000 lawn seats.
  • Premium Suites.
  • Restrooms.
  • Teaching Kitchen.

The amphitheater will a great spot for shows in spring/summer, being much like Broomfield's Palisade Park Amphitheater, which also seats about 6,000.

New Hockey/Sports Arena Coming to The Ranch

Along with updating Blue Arena, The Ranch will also be adding a new arena Youth Sports & Hockey Training Facility with multi layers of ice that that can be removed for other sports, such as basketball, pickleball, etc.

The Ranch will also be seeing an 'Events Plaza,' where local acts can perform outside Blue Arena, along with other activities.
