Folks all around Colorado love to have fun in all sorts of different ways, from mountain climbing and skiing to weekly poker games and an Easter Keg Hunt. Kids around Fort Collins love hunting for Easter eggs, adults love hunting for stuff, too; if there are drinks involved, all the better.

Northern Colorado Easter Keg Hunts Celebrate Nearly 20 Years

Big Deal Company has hosted two Easter Keg Hunts in Northern Colorado every year since 2008. Their a win-win for participants and the participating bar/restaurants in each Loveland's and Fort Collins' downtown areas. The hunts are a great teambuilding experience; maybe you can get your company to sponsor a team for your workplace.

Over a Dozen Stops Involved with Each Easter Keg Hunt

When an event has been around for so long, you know that they've gotten any kinks that it may have had worked out. A large team of event experts works diligently to create each year's event from scratch; that's why many teams compete year after year.  The 2026 Eater Keg Hunts will hit 13 bars/restaurants in each city, in a four-hour span of time.

For $45 each, adult "hunters" are given a list of clues/question that will lead them along the way for the afternoon. Most of the questions require some sort of physical application to solve, so it's not just about "doing a bar crawl." I'm big fan of bar crawls, especially if it might involve a costume - even a bunny costume; though costumes are not required for the Easter Keg Hunts.
