
DIA Named One of World’s Ugliest Buildings
Having lived in numerous states in the nation and traveling to many places abroad, I have seen some unsightly buildings in my time. Some are overly corny, while others remain incomplete for decades.

On the other hand, I have seen some buildings that are simply majestic and historic. Others are just unique. When it comes to buildings in Colorado, I can't say one way or another if any of them stand out as an eyesore.
Beauty Is in the Eye of the Beholder
Some people will certainly disagree with the previous statement, and that's fine. We all have our opinions. One building in Colorado has recently made the list as one of the top 10 eyesores in the entire world.
You might be surprised to know that some people really do not like the design of Denver International Airport. I have heard people say that Jeppesen Terminal is reminiscent of a circus tent. Which I can sort of agree with, but it is unique.
The Design of Jeppesen Terminal at Denver's Airport
Jeppesen Terminal's roof is a 375,000-square foot Teflon-coated white fabric roof, which was designed to resemble the snowcapped peaks of the Rocky Mountains. According to Buildworld, Denver International Airport is the fifth most terrible-looking building in the United States of America, and is the ninth worst-looking building in the world.

Other buildings on the list of the 60 ugliest buildings in the world include the Oriental Pearl Tower in Shanghai, China, the BMW Headquarters in Munich, Germany, Bosco Vericale in Milan, Italy, the Florida State Capitol building in Tallahassee, Florida, and the J. Edgar Hoover Building in Washington, D.C.
