It’s Time To Renew Your Colorado Fishing License

If you haven't do so yet it is that time of year to renew your fishing license in the state of Colorado. The Park and Wildlife Department has released the fees and schedule for the 2015 season including the free fishing weekend.

Each year during the first full weekend of June it is legal to fish without a license in Colorado. June 6th and 7th will be the free dates this year which means anyone can go out on that weekend a fish for free.

The rest of the year, you will need a license and they run $26 for the year plus a $10 habitat stamp. Kids under 16 fish for free in Colorado so that makes it easy on the old wallet.

That is a great deal to fish some of the best streams and lakes in the country.

Fishing also a great way to unplug from the world and spend some quality time with the whole family. If you have never gone fishing ever then this is a good time to start.

It isn't very hard and even if you don't catch anything spending a day with the family in the great outdoors is way better than working.
