The 5th Annual Vintage Motorcycle Days, coming to downtown Palisade this Saturday, June 1, is a free family event benefiting Operation Interdependence, sending civilian rations to troops overseas. How can you support Operation Interdependence by attending the event?

The 5th Annual Vintage Motorcycle Days features vintage motorcycles, fun for the kids with a free bounce house from Willy Wanna Jump, live music with the Desert Flyer Band, and a silent auction. Proceeds from the silent auction will go directly to Operation Interdependence. Auction items include a one-year membership plus unlimited tanning to Anytime Fitness on Orchard Mesa, golf certificates, motorcycle components, lodging certificates, and a whole lot more.

You can also support Operation Interdependence by purchasing an event t-shirt for $15. All proceeds will go towards sending rations including food, games, sunscreen, video games, and letters, to the troops overseas.

Another way to support Operation Interdependence is to register your bike for the judging. The $15 registration fee will go to the organization. You can display your bike at the show for free, but you will not be eligible for judging or trophies. To register for judging or just to display your bike, please check in at the registration counter by 10:00 am.

Festivities at the 5th Annual Vintage Motorcycle Days will begin at 10:00 am, Saturday June 1st, at 3rd and Main in downtown Palisade.
